Obituary for Rose Strazza Mrs. Rose Strazza, 85, of Harrison, N.Y. passed away on December 24, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Michelina Carino of New Rochelle, where she was born and raised. Rose worked in the secretarial field until she met her husband Philip. Philip predeceased her in 2016. Rose and Phil moved to Harrison, where they resided for 60 years. Rose was a homemaker, and then later returned to the secretarial field in both private and county agencies. Rose is survived by her loving daughter Marie (William) Yizar, and son Joseph Strazza. She is also survived by her sister MaryJane (Ronald) Quake, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Along with her husband Philip, Rose had also been predeceased by a brother John. The Strazza family will be receiving friends at the Harrison Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will take place on Thursday.
