Robert E. Davison “Mike” Sodus – Robert Earl “Mike” Davison, 75 entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Rochester General Hospital. All services will be private with burial in Fairville Cemetery in the Spring of 2019. In memory of Mike, in lieu of flowers please consider donations to Fresenius Kidney Care Freedom, 305 West Shore Blvd, Newark, NY 14513. Mike was born the son of the late Clarence and Sarah (VanDerLinde) Davison on Friday, February 5, 1943 in Sodus, NY. He spent his life in the Wayne County area, and attended Sodus Schools. Mike was a member of the Newark American Legion and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and attending car races. Mike served our country in the Vietnam War where he was exposed to Agent Orange and over the years had many health issues. The funeral home proudly flies the Army Flag in honor of his service. Mike will be remembered by his loving wife, Barbara J (Seymour) Davison; sons, Kenneth (Karin) Davison and Robert (Kim McMahon) Davison; grandchildren, Everett, Ethan and Eli Davison; sister, Carol (Ron) Baker; brothers- in-law, Edgar (Linda) Seymour, James (Sandy) Seymour and John Seymour; sister-in-law, Jean Burm; many nieces and nephews.
