Obituary of Randy Tinkler ILION – Randy J. Tinkler, age 49, of Schaghticoke , NY , passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at home. His passing was sudden to us, un – expected and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was born October 1, 1969, in Herkimer , NY , a son of Arlen “Jack” and Mary Jane (Silvernail) Tinkler and was educated in Utica schools. He worked with Family Danz Heating & Cooling in Albany as a Service Technician. He was an avid fisherman and sportsman, and was particularly fond of the Giants, Rangers and the Mets. He is survived by his beloved family, his father and step – mother, Jack and Judy Tinkler, of Ilion; his children, Gage Tinkler and Steven Mallory; his sisters, Kathy, Bonny and Sherry; his brother, Steven Bennett; his best buddy canine companion, Jenny; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Jane Tinkler; and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 28, 2018 at 7:00 PM at The Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road in Ilion , NY (Town of Frankfort ). Calling hours for family and friends are Friday evening, prior to the funeral prayers at the funeral home, 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Those wishing to remember Randy in a special way are asked to consider a donation in his memory to the Herkimer County Humane Society, P.O. Box 73 , Mohawk , NY 13407 .
