OBITUARY Morris “Tink” L. Russell May 15, 1958 – December 10, 2018 Morris L. “Tink” Russell, age 60, of West Stockholm, NY passed away on December 10th at his home surrounded by his family and Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 15th at 2pm at the Garner Funeral Home with Rev. David Tulloch celebrant. Burial will follow the service at the West Stockholm Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 11am until 2pm. Contributions in his memory can be made to the West Stockholm Volunteer Fire Department. There will be a luncheon on Saturday after the burial at the Moose Lodge in Potsdam. If anyone wishing to share a dish they can drop it off there on Saturday or just bring it to the luncheon when you come. Morris is survived by his spouse Laurie Russell; sons Jason Russell and his companion Chelsea Parmeter and Christopher Russell; daughter Brittany Lindsey and her companion Matthew Lindsey; brother Rick (Barbara) Russell; sisters Linda Bronson and Tammy (Clark) Parker; brother in law Jimmy McGinnis; grandchildren Brady, Blaze and Mattilynn Lindsey and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, sisters Cindy McGinnis and Sherry Perry and a brother in law Ronald Bronson. Morris L. Russell was born on May 15, 1958 in Ogdensburg, NY to the late Morris Russell and Eleanor Lindenberger. He was a 1977 graduate of Potsdam Central High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving from March of 1978 until his honorable discharge in August of 1982. He served overseas in Korea and the Phillipines. Tink worked at Bennington Iron Works in Vermont for a few years, The ARC in Norwood for 5 years, La Frommboys Construction for a few years and then was currently employed with the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority for the last 13 years until his illness. On June 9, 2007 he was married to Laurie Goliber in Hannawa Falls, NY. He was an Honor Roll member of the West Stockholm Volunteer Fire Department.
