Obituary of Michael Mullally Canandaigua/Phelps Michael J. Mullally, age 73 passed away suddenly at Strong Memorial Hospital, Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Mike was the founder of ValveTech, Inc. an aerospace company in Phelps, New York. He was the proud holder of many patents, including thruster components on the Mars Science Laboratory, The International Space Center, the Space Shuttle, and the V22 to name just a few. He was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth (Carberry) Mullally, and his father Robert Mullally. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Patricia (Rooney) Mullally of Canandaigua, his son Timothy Mullally, wife Melanie (Gesoff) Mullally and children Zachary and Zane, daughter Erin Mullally, (Greg Richardson) and children Nash, Sawyer, Adam and Ryan, Brother Patrick Mullally (Diane) of Marcy, NY, sister Karen Steigerwald of Auburn, NY and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Services will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
