Obituary for Laura Mae Redburn Laura Mae Redburn, 81 of Fort Myers, FL passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at her residence. Formerly of New Jersey, she had been a resident of Southwest Florida since 1982. Laura was born April 7, 1937 in Atlantic, Iowa a daughter of the late Anthony and Petermary (Syms) Morton. As a seamstress she enjoyed knitting and quilting. She also loved cooking and family gatherings. Survivors include her beloved husband of 62 years, Joe Alan Redburn; sons, Michael (Audrey) Redburn of Lehigh Acres, FL, David (Maryann) Redburn of Portland, OR, Kendall (Dorian) Redburn of Pa, and Ronald (Sue) Redburn of Traverse City, MI; brother, Bert (Lee) Morton of Springfield, IL; sisters, Ellen Rutherford of Atlantic, IA, Carol Petersen of Denver, CO and Dorothy (Jim) Tupper of Atlantic, IA; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson. She will be laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home.
