Obituary for Mr. John Davis DuRousseau Mr. John DuRousseau Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 4, 2019 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. John DuRousseau, 77, who entered eternal rest, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park. Mr. DuRousseau is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Lemelle DuRousseau of Opelousas, LA; two sons, John DuRousseau, Jr. (Angela) of York, PA and Phillip DuRousseau, Sr. (Mylinda) of Waldorf, MD; a brother, Rowland DuRousseau (Jeannette) of Lawtell, LA; three sisters, Ella Hicks (Charles) of Concord, CA, Eva DuRousseau of Scott, LA and Joann DuRousseau of Monroe, GA; five grandchildren, Carrington, John “Jay” III, Savannah, Phillip Jr. and Adalan; and a host of extended family members and friends. Mr. Durousseau was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest DuRousseau & Ruby Papion DuRousseau; siblings, Brenda Fontenot and Joseph DuRousseau. Visiting hours will be observed from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM Friday, January 4, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home.
