Obituary of Jeannine Kies Jeannine A. Kies, age 67, of New Port Richey, FL, formerly of Corning, NY, died Sunday, December 16, 2018. Jeannine was born on November 22, 1951 in Corning to John and Pauline (Tong) Lee. She was a graduate of Corning East High School and Oneida County Practical Nursing school. Jeannine worked as a nurse in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Florida. She loved to crochet, knit, bowl, play bingo, and animals. She is survived by her mother, Pauline Reidy; sister, Sharleen (Don) Reidy-Rettberg of Canisteo; brothers, Rev. John (Ellen) Lee of New Port Richey, FL, Walter (Diane) Reidy of Mesa, AZ, George Reidy of Corning; daughter, Jessica (Josh) Kies-Salisburg of Louisville, KY; sons, Thomas (Gillian) Kies, II of Aurburn, MA and Alex (Jessica) Kies of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, John Lee, stepfather, Morris Reidy and her dog, Tony. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 5th from 10 – 12 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street in Corning where funeral services will follow at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in Corning. Memorial donations may be made to North Baptist Church, 127 Sly Ave., Corning, NY 14830 or to Quackenbush Hill Baptist Church, 4371 College Ave., Corning, NY 14830. Jeannine’s family entrusted her care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
