Obituary for Jeanette Victoria Bornt Jeanette Victoria “Vickie” Bornt, 54, of Gloversville passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Mountain Valley Hospice after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her family and friends. Vickie was born on May 28, 1964 to Victor and the late Jeanette Vermilyea Mosetti. Vickie met the love of her life John Bornt, Jr., they were married on September 30, 1989, they shared 29 years of love, laughter and fun. John lovingly took care of Vickie through her illness. She and John have the true meaning of friends who become family with Ed and Sharon Pierce who were with her everyday and never left her side, they are the Bornt Family’s earth angels. Vickie was employed at Taylor Made South Blvd., Gloversville for 36 years working through her illness. She was the Supervisor of the Shipping Department and was known as Mrs. Taylor. Sharing memories, laughter and love with family was everything to Vickie. When Vickie was not working you could find her at home watching the Hallmark Channel, soap operas and Lifetime. She loved to gamble and frequently went to casinos, she had gambling fever. Vickie is survived by her husband John, her loving daughters Rachel (Tyler Putman) and Rebecca (Justin Lyndaker); her father Victor (Mary Butler), her siblings Vanessa (Jim) Williams, Scott (Tina Woodruff) and Greg (Kristen Kenyon); also many nieces, nephews, great nieces, one great nephew and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 9th from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm at the Amico Funeral Home, 150 South Main Street, Gloversville. Monday, December 10th at 9:30 am a prayer service will be held at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Holy Spirit. Burial will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Mountain Valley Hospice for all the care, respect and love shown to Vickie and her family.
