OBITUARY James “Jay” P. Lynch April 7, 1951 – December 28, 2018 James P. “Jay” Lynch, 67, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died on Friday December 28, 2018 at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He was born on April 7, 1951 to John James and Jean Organ Lynch in Yonkers where he was raised and educated. Mr. Lynch was a foreman at the Coca Cola Co. in Elmsford for forty years until his retirement. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy in the early 1970’s. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church. He enjoyed playing golf and playing cards with his friends. On December 15, 1984, he married his loving wife Luanne DeSantis in Yonkers. Luanne survives and lives in Yonkers. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Trendon Jason Lynch of Mamaroneck, two daughters, Mary Jo Lynch and her husband Victor Bonadonna of Yonkers and Jaymie Lynch of Yonkers and her fiancé Joseph Dos Reis, two brothers, Patrick Lynch of Suffern and Timothy Lynch of Yonkers and three sisters, Mary Vaccarino and Maureen Pozo of Wappinger Falls and Kathleen Hincncliffe of Yonkers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Eugene Lynch. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday 2:30 – 8:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony’s Church on Thursday January 3rd at 10am. Cremation will follow at Ferncliff Crematory in Hartsdale.
