OBITUARY Evelyn Onita Foster June 14, 1920 – December 27, 2018 Evelyn O. Foster, 98, passed away Thursday December 27, 2018. She was born on June 14, 1920 in Mt Calm, Texas to the parentage of Sudie and Cecil Jones. Evelyn attended public school and graduated in 1939. She accepted Christ at an early age while attending the Saner Ave Church of Christ in 1934. Evelyn taught Sunday school classes for several years. In November 1942 she married her best friend and the love of her life Milford in Santa Monica, California. Soon after, World War II started, he went into the Army Air Force and served 4 years, Evelyn was employed by the Internal Revenue Service as a bookkeeper for several years retiring in the mid 1970’s. She was a long time member a of Saner Avenue Church of Christ even when the church moved to Duncanville and was renamed Clark Road Church of Christ.
