Obituary for Carl Marion Davis Carl Marion Davis Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, December 30, 2018, Mr. Carl Marion Davis, 91, beloved husband of 66 wonderful years to Lorraine A. Davis. A native of Jacksboro, TN, he has lived over half his life in Augusta, Martinez area. He is a veteran of WWII serving in the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations in Italy. He retired as a Lab Analyst from DuPont at SRS after 35 years of service. He is the son of the late Whitney and Mary Davis. In addition to his wife, he is survived by devoted friends: David and Dianne Bullard; devoted niece: Carolyn Wilson; and two sisters: Helen B. Ridenour (Edward) and Alma Ruth Cupp. He enjoyed woodworking and making gifts for friends and family, and caring for his beloved pet, Mandee. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
