Arloine K Cook 1946 2018

Obituary of Arloine Cook Arloine K. “Kay” Cook, age 72 of Corning, NY went to be with her Lord and husband, David Cook on December 1, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Westfield, PA on July 29, 1946 to Richard and Josephine Shay. Kay worked for New York Mental Health retiring from Finger Lakes DDS as a supervisor at the group home on Gorton road in Corning. She had 22 years of faithful service to the patients that she cared for. She enjoyed engaging with friends online and attending auctions and flea markets. She faithfully supported her sons and granddaughter at sporting events throughout the years. She will also be remembered for her friendly disposition. Kay is survived by two sons: Eric (Vickie) Cook of Corning, Daniel Cook of Corning; granddaughter: Hannah Marie Cook of Corning; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and Kay’s pride and joys, Harley the dog; Leo the lizard, and Toni the cat. In lieu of flowers, please donate to her two favorite charities, Chemung County SPCA, or the American Cancer Association. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
