Steven made his journey to the Spirit World on November 22, 2018 near Red Shirt Table, SD. Steven is survived by his children, Steven (Syd) Yellow Horse, Jr. of Rapid City, SD; Cody Yellow Horse of Pine Ridge, SD, Lana (Payton) Yellow Horse of Oglala, SD, step-daughter, BeeJay (Mo) Ward of Pine Ridge, SD, hunka parents, Henry and Nora Brings Him Back of Oglala, SD; grandchildren, Jessica Yellow Horse of Oglala, SD, Leo Yellow Horse of Rapid City, SD, Terrence Yellow Horse of Pine Ridge, SD, Ashley Blacksmith of Oglala, SD, Toni Ellen Marie Yellow Horse of Rapid City, SD, Carter Yellow Horse of Pine Ridge, SD, Bryant Yellow Horse and Dre’Vonte’ Yellow Horse both of Oglala, SD, Charlee, Ryan, and Peyton Ward all of Pine Ridge, SD; brothers, Rudy Standing Crow and Corwin Standing Crow both of Oglala, SD; sisters, Simone Standing Crow, Agnes Standing Crow, and Annette Yellow Horse all of Oglala, SD, Eileen Standing Crow of Virginia, and Tahnee Between Lodges of Utah.
