Obituary of Dennis Harris Dennis R. Harris, Sr., age 65, of Wilmington, DE passed away on November 14, 2018. Raised in Parkside, PA, Dennis lived in Wilmington for the past 39 years. He graduated from Sun Valley High School in Aston, PA, class of 1971. Dennis worked as a machinist for Scott Paper/Kimberly Clark for over 25 years before his retirement. A member of the St. Helena’s Parish, he was a member of the Christopher Council Knights of Columbus for 25 years where he served as past Grand Knight and also State Officer. Dennis was a member of the Brandywine Club, Inc. where he served as the current President at the time of his death. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was known as an avid fan of both the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Dennis is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence J. Harris Sr. and brother, Lawrence J. Harris Jr.. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Karla Epright Harris, children, Dennis R. (Meaghan) Harris Jr. and Kristine (Mark) DeAngelis, mother, Edith Berry Harris, brothers Thomas and Brian Harris, and grandchildren Molly, Matthew & Anna Harris and Emma DeAngelis. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, 7-9pm at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA. Additional visitation will be held Monday, 10:30-11am at St. Helena’s Church, 602 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11AM. Interment will be private.
