Tom Roberts, 83, of Bath IL, passed away on October 16, 2018. He was born in Spann Hill, Kentucky on February 12, 1935 the son of William and Rosie Roberts. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Janet Roberts; son Wayne (Jeannie); 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Frank of Missouri; and sister, Ruby of Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son; 1 grandson; 1 sister; and 3 brothers. He and his wife, along with their sons ran Roberts Truck Line in Ashland, IL for 40 years. In Lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. He was involved with St. Jude’s for 16 years. Visitation will be held at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home at 530 N. Fifth Street in Springfield IL, 62702 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, October 19, 2018. The Funeral will be held at 10:00am on Saturday October 20, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Plains Cemetery.
