Obituary for Robert “Bob” Bell Mr. Robert “Bob” Bell, 93 of Kennesaw passed away September 28, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Marietta. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Born in Atlanta he attended Atlanta Public Schools, graduating from Tech High in 1943. He joined the U.S. Navy in May and was part of the Navy V-12 program. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 1947 and went to work for Southern Bell until he retired in 1986. After retirement he enjoyed painting landscapes, Bible Study, working on his “N” scale model railroad and traveling with Bettie Jo. He also was a member of the Lost Mountain Golden K Kiwanis club. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Jo Bell. Surviving are son, Robert “Bert” Bell, Jr. and daughter Deborah Crace. Four grandchildren, Joanna Bell, Amelia Bell, Priscilla Bell and Kerrick Crace. Memorial gifts can be made to the Wellstar Hospice, 805 Sandy Plains Road, Suite 100, Marietta, Georgia 30066.
