Marilyn L. Perreault-Hemingway Marilyn L. Perreault-Hemingway, 64, passed away peacefully at the VNA Respite House in Colchester, VT after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Burlington, VT, June 20, 1954 to Arthur and Francis Hemingway. Marilyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Her family meant everything to her. She cherished the family gatherings, dancing at the Legion, playing cards and Yahtzee. She spent her life playing many roles, mother, caregiver, babysitter, and just an overall supporter. She was always there for anyone in need. She is survived by 4 brothers and 2 sisters; George Hemingway of Massachusetts, Robert Hemingway of North Carolina, Arthur Hemingway of White River, Vermont, Donald Hemingway and Connie of New York, Betty Pasciuti of Massachusetts, and Phyllis Camley and Ed of North Carolina. Also surviving are her daughters Sherri Perreault and Denim of Burlington, Vermont and Dawna Perreault and Ryan of Winooski, Vermont; her granddaughter and caregiver Paris LaPlant and Chadd of South Burlington, Vermont, 9 other grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends including her life-long friend Marie Wescott. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Francis Hemingway, her daughter Tammy Perreault, her brother James Hemingway and sister Janice LaGrow. Marilyn was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visiting hours will be on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM with a prayer service at 9:30 AM.
