Obituary for Linda Marie Myers Claborn Linda Marie Myers Claborn age 71 of Mena, Arkansas formerly of Hatfield, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 in Mena, Arkansas . Linda was born on October 7, 1946 in Mena, Arkansas to the late Russell B, Myers and the late Cleo “Peggy” Lutrell Bryant. She was married to the love of her life for 55 years, David Claborn. Linda worked in Hatfield Public School for 27 years and was adored by students and faculty. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Linda is survived by: Husband: David Claborn of Mena, Arkansas Daughter: Teresa Lynn Clark and husband Rick of Mena, Arkansas Son: David D. “Davie” Claborn and wife Gayla of Glenwood, Arkansas She was blessed by five grandchildren: Scotty and Alex McCormick of Mena, Arkansas Victoria Claborn Stover of Little Rock, Arkansas Savannah Claborn Mizell of Bryant, Arkansas Sawyer Claborn of Glenwood, Arkansas 9 great-grandchildren whose antics never failed to make her laugh: Eva Grace, Brielle, Zuri, Isable Love, and Isaac Stover Zachary and Connor McCormick Maxton and Samuel Mizell Siblings: Bonnie Myers Goad and Ronnie Myers of Mena, Arkansas She was preceded in death by her parents Russell Myers and Peggy Luttrell Byrant, her youngest brother and her best childhood friend ever, Terry Dale Myers. Host of other relatives and friends Funeral service will be Monday, October 1, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Beasley Wood Chapel with Brother Donnie Jewell officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hatfield, Arkansas under the direction of the Beasley Wood funeral Home of Mena.
