Obituary for John Neary John Neary, 70, of Bayville, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at home. Born in New York City, he has lived in Bayville since 1953. John was a member of the Teamsters Local 469 and worked at Freehold Race Track for many years, retiring in 2013. He was a United States Navy Vietnam War veteran. John was a member of the VFW Post 9503, Bayville, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Donna (nee Kinkel), two daughters Erin Neary of Bayville, NJ and Jessica Bozarth of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, a sister Doris Taylor of Missouri and four grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals O’Connell Chapel, 706 Hwy. 9, Bayville, NJ. A memorial service will be offered Sunday 3:00pm at Village Lutheran Church, 701 Western Blvd., Lanoka Harbor, NJ. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.
