Obituary for Jack A. Bixler Jack Arthur Bixler age 82, passed away peacefully at home under hospice care, Sunday, September 23, 2018. Born in Reading, PA, he was a son of the late Arthur Lee and Esther Bixler. Jack was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from General Telephone of California after 30 years of service. He then started his own business Jack’s Jacks also in California and then he and Kathy moved to Pawleys Island in 1992 to enjoy the golf community, where he was an avid and competitive golfer and enjoyed bowling. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Bixler of Venice, FL. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Kathy Bixler; a sister, Mary Lou Boyer of Port St. Lucie, FL; a sister in law, Paulette Bixler of Venice, FL and Mr.B. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Litchfield/Pawleys Island Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Tidelands Hospice, 2591 N.
