Obituary of Floyd Keim Floyd Frederick “Pete” Keim, 97, of Latrobe, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born May 26, 1921 in Latrobe, a son of the late Benjamin and Millie (Marks) Keim. Pete was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and prior to his retirement, he worked as a machinist at Kennametal Inc., in Latrobe. He loved watching the Pirates and Steelers, and attended as many Steelers games as possible as a season ticket holder. Some of his favorite past times included gardening, visiting the beach, and taking care of his cars. He loved history and was an avid reader that collected many books throughout his lifetime. He was always a good listener when you needed someone to talk to and will be remembered as an all-around good guy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth (Boggio) Keim and his siblings, Ralph Keim and Sally Gettemy. He is survived by his daughter Amy Keim Clark and her husband Donald of Latrobe; three grandchildren, Daniel Clark, Christine Clark, and Carolyn Clark and her fiancé Tyler Pengelly; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM in the Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home, Inc. 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 331 Weldon Street, Latrobe with the Trinity clergy officiating. Interment will be in Unity Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 331 Weldon St., Latrobe, PA 15650.
