Etta Mae Russell Alford 2018

Etta Mae Russell Alford age 85 of Bowling Green, died Thursday at the Medical Center at 10:18 pm. She was born in Warren County to the late Ben and Gladys Warren Russell. She was a housewife and homemaker, a member of Richardsville Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and loved her flowers, cooking and taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband of 68 years W. Ray Alford. sons, Dan (Linda), Richard (Geynita), Russell (Debbie), and Eric (Martha) all of Bowling Green.. Grandchildren, Jeremy (Jill), Tiffany (Joe), Travis, Harrison , Sarah, six great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter. Brothers, Marvin Russell (Linda) and Joe Russell (Barbara) both of Bowling Green. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm Saturday and after 11 am Sunday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2 pm Sunday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial to follow in the Green River Union Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Green River Union Cemetery Fund in her memory.
