Douglas Arthur Kennett of Southworth, WA passed away peacefully on October 13th, 2018 at 77 Years of Age. Doug was born in Naches, WA on July 28th, 1941. Upon graduating from Naches High in 1961 he entered the US Navy for the next four years and served aboard the US Ranger. Doug proudly worked at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA for 32 years and retired as a Supervisor for Shop 99. He then spent his winters in Yuma, Arizona and was an avid golfer in both Yuma and during summers around his home in Southworth, Washington. Doug is survived by his Daughter, Teresa, Step-Children Debbie and Michael, his current wife Phyllis and her 3 daughters Karrie, Kimberly, and Jamie. He also has a Brother Ted and his wife Melody, and Sister Donna and husband Monty. Doug also has several grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be a graveside inurnment service on Friday October 19th at Haven of Rest Memorial Park in Gig Harbor, WA at 3:00 pm.
