Donald W Schaeffer 2018

Donald W. Schaeffer, 87, resided at the Topton Lutheran Home and formally of Shillington, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Elaine G. (Gammell) Schaeffer. Born in Fleetwood, Mr. Schaeffer was the son of the late Edwin G. and Edna R. (Stahler) Schaeffer. He was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Shillington and was a 1949 graduate of Oley High School. Mr. Schaeffer was a parts manager at L&B Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep in Robesonia for 29 years retiring December 31, 1996. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Rodney L. Schaeffer, fiancé of Jessica Prutzman of Shillington and Scott H. Schaeffer, husband of Casey J. Schaeffer of Sinking Spring, granddaughter Allison J. Schaeffer and daughters Selena King and Stacy Cirulli of Seminole Florida from a previous marriage. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington Friday, October 5, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12 Noon. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 3893 Adler Place Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017 in memory of Mr. Donald W. Schaeffer. Online condolences may be made at
