Diana Westbrook Sampsel 2018

Diana Westbrook Sampsel, 51, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday morning, October 25, 2018 in her Norfolk home. Diana was born in Virginia Beach, Va. and graduated from Bayside High School. She was a kindhearted wonderful woman. She had two beautiful children and was a very good mom. Diana loved her family and friends, and her sweet pets. She loved to design flowers, enjoyed going on walks, and loved country music. She eventually married her best friend, Frank and moved to Norfolk and became a step-mom to two lovely children. She leaves behind her husband, Frank Sampsel; her son, Cory Cain; daughter, Felica Cain; step-daughter, Courtney Sampsel; step-son, Christopher Sampsel. She also leaves behind her mother, Shelby Kinnley Doyle; her brothers, James and Steven Doyle; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends all whom loved her dearly. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31st in the Norfolk Chapel of H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts. with Rev. Randall T. Timmerman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Larchmont United Methodist Church, 1101 Jamestown Crescent, Norfolk, VA 23508.
