I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” II Timothy 4: 6-8 David Lee McAllister, the son of the late David and Isabelle Scipio McAllister, was born on March 5, 1965 in Florence, South Carolina. He departed this life on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 1:09 PM. David was educated in the public schools of Florence County, and was a 1983 graduate of West Florence High School. He was formerly employed with several companies, which included: Merita Bakery, DuPont and Frazier. He leaves to cherish his memories: three daughters: Asia (Darius) McAllister, Devin Witherspoon and Carmen Witherspoon; two step daughters, Turquoise Boyle and Erin Witherspoon; nine grandchildren: Jahari, Jamal, Paris, Caden, Braylen, Bayleigh, Lauryn, Mason and Mason; three brothers: Anthony (Lucy) McAllister, Ray (Sheila) McAllister and Lamonte McAllister; one sister, Pamela (Terrence) West; six uncles, eight aunts; nieces and nephews: Keyana, Latrice, Keisha, Marcus, Chris and Anthony; and a host of other relatives and friends.
