Christopher Rea 2018

Christopher Ryan Rea, age 43, passed away unexpectedly on October 8th, 2018. Chris grew up in Issaquah, graduated Issaquah High School in 1994. He started a successful Landscaping company that same year, King Landscaping. His business thrived for 24 years. Chris had a passion for the outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed working hands on to create beautiful, artistic landscapes. Many of his customers described him as the hardest worker they had ever seen. Chris enjoyed everything outdoors, from hiking with his wife and dogs to working on the many projects around their beautiful home. People who knew him best, could see past his tough guy exterior into his sensitive loving heart. He had many friends. He was charismatic and charming. He had a great sense of humor and an infectious smile. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife Darcy, sons Jaden and Ashten, parents Norm and Donna, and sister Timilin. He was predeceased by his brother and best friend Michael. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs Tagg, Jase, Kiki, and his “sweet sweet Koko Puff”. Services will be held at Flintoft’s Reception Home, 580 E. Sunset Way, in Issaquah at 2pm on October 20th. In honor of Chris’ love for the outdoors, the service will be held in an outdoor garden. Please dress warmly. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to an animal rescue of your choice in Chris’s honor.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Christopher Rea 2018.
