Our loving mother McMama passed away peacefully in her sleep next to her eternal spouse on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Born in Austin, TX to William Orson Haskell and Bertha Davies Haskell Tart on March 16, 1945. Married Patric Carlyle McGarvey on August 26, 1966 in the Manti Temple. She had a warm heart and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She served countless years in Primary, Young Women and Relief Society positions. She loved all children especially those she taught. She graduated in 1963 from South High School and attended Stevens-Henager College. While raising her older children she worked as a Medical Executive Secretary and while raising the younger five as an End of Life Caregiver. She dearly loved those she served. Her most prized accomplishment is raising her eight children. Survived by her husband; Patric C McGarvey, seven children William C. McGarvey (Becky), Lori Harding (Charles), Sheri Rausch (Roger), Shane M. McGarvey (Elarie), James P. McGarvey, Suzann McGarvey, Michelle Watson (Marc), sibling; John Frederick Tart (Darlene) and 21 Grandchildren. Preceded in Death by both parents, stepfather Frederick N. Tart and son Steven P. McGarvey Viewing Sunday October 28, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Belvedere Ward (607 E Downington Ave, SLC). Funeral Monday October 29, 2018 at 11:00 am with a viewing preceding at 9:45 am to 10:45 am at Belvedere Ward.
