OBITUARY Alice M. Hanten September 28, 1936 – October 25, 2018 Alice M. Hanten, 82, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Hanten. Alice was a longtime member of the Church of the Redeemer. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jennifer J. Hanten, Laura H. Jordan, Jeffrey J. Hanten (Cathie), and Christopher J. Hanten (Tenille Sullivan); grandchildren, Graham, Darin, Kaylin, Trinity, and Iain; sister-in-law, Judy Russo; and dear friend, Mary Ann Stackowitz. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 29, at 10 a.m. at Church of the Redeemer, 8275 Meadowbridge Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116.
