Steve Baldwin age 83, of Linden, Texas went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 30, 2018 at his residence. Steve was born June 4, 1935 in Coleman, Texas to Lonnie and Daisy Baldwin. He was retired from Guardline; served in the United States Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars; and was a Baptist by faith. He enjoyed spending time fishing in his younger years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Baldwin; two sons, Curtis King, David Jonathan Baldwin; a grandson, Chris Gober;… Read More » great-grandson, Daniel Weidebusch; daughter-in-law, Brenda Gober; son-in-law, John Jones; three sisters-in-law, Anetta Baldwin, Kathy Baldwin, and Wanda Duke. He is survived by four sons and five daughters-in-law, Richard and Lisa Sims of Terrell, Texas, Jerry and Rose King of Kildare, Texas, Carl and Brenda Baldwin of Bonham, Texas, James Baldwin and Claudia Belk of Alexandria, Virginia, Laura King of Queen City, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Charlene Jones of Linden, Texas, Tammy and Desmond Everett of Borger, Texas; three brothers, Utah Baldwin of Brownwood, Texas, Harold Baldwin of Brownwood, Texas, John Baldwin of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, June Chambers of Gatesville, Texas; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Coleman Cemetery, Coleman, Texas.
