Obituary for Stephen Hurt Richardson Stephen Hurt Richardson of Vardaman, 62, died Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford after a brief illness. He is predeceased by his parents, Mary Evelyn (Martin) Richardson and Carthel Hurt Richardson, and a brother, Carl Martin Richardson. He is survived by his sister, Rosemary Richardson Massey of Vardaman; a niece, Angela Massey Azpell (Tommy) of Franklin, TN; and two nephews, Dr. Jonathan Hurt Massey (William Haynes) of Oxford, MS., and Benjamin Luke Massey of Spring Hill, TN. A private graveside service for his family will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Vardaman. Pryor Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
