Obituary of Sarah Susi Sarah Susi 90, of Jessup, died Friday morning at Elmcroft Senior Living Community. She was the widow of Michael Susi who died in 1976. Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Alma Cianflone Perry. She was a graduate of Ben Franklin High School. She was employed as a seamstress and member of the International Ladies Garment Workers’ Union. She was a member of Queen of Angels Parish, St. Mary’s Assumption Church. Sarah enjoyed playing cards and the occasional trip to Mohegan Sun, Atlantic City or Las Vegas with her sister. She was an avid crocheter and created hundreds of afghans over the years. The family will like to thank the staff at Elmcroft for their wonderful care over the past few months. Surviving are two daughters; Catherine Kobeski and husband Anthony, Jessup and Michele Lauriha and husband David, Archbald and a son Anthony Susi, Scott Township, grandchildren, Cara and Rachel Kobeski and Tony Susi, Jr, and a sister, Marie Kanuik, Sturges, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Neary. The funeral will be held Tuesday from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St. Jessup, with mass at St. Michael’s Chuch, Jessup at 9:30 a.m. Interment, St. John’s Cemetery, Jessup. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7pm.
