Sally Jane Darrah 2018

Sally Darrah, age 67, died peacefully on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at her home in Hillsboro after a brief struggle with cancer. Sally was born on February 25, 1951 in Hood River to Wesley and Florence Turner. A graduate of Albany High School in Albany, CA, Sally attended Brigham Young University to study theatre. She left BYU to move to Portland, OR where she met her husband Robert Darrah, of 33 years before his passing in 2006. Sally was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and spent her career at Providence Health Services. A beloved mother, Sally’s truest joy was spending time with her family, her dearest friend Lynn, and countless others who were close to her heart. Sally will forever be remembered by her children, Heather (Wade), Jon (Lisa), Bobby (Adrienne), Emily, and Andrea, by her siblings Wes (Kay), June (Alf), Joan (Claude), John, and Debbie, and her seven grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends. A celebration of Sally’s life will be held on Thursday, September 27, at 2 PM, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5175 SW 209th Ave., Aloha, OR, 97007.
