Obituary for Raymond “Rick” Edward Prida New Bern – Raymond “Rick” E. Prida, Sr., 75, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018. Services will be private. Rick, a longtime resident of Cleveland, OH, served proudly in the US Navy and retired from Teledyne Hyson as a manufacturing supervisor. Following his retirement, he moved to New Bern. He loved his family, woodworking, knife making, and the water. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond J. and Mary Ann Prida; and sisters, Raquel Prida and Constance P. Lane. Rick is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Faye Prida; children, Raymond E. Prida, Jr. and wife Patricia of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Michael Sean Prida and wife Melanie of Clayton, and Christi Dawn Ratliff and husband John of New Bern; grandchildren, Ashley Prida, Neal Prida, Jonathan Ratliff, Chloe Ratliff, Elaina Prida, Collin Ratliff and Zachary Prida; great grandchildren, Aubree Prida, Emily Prida and Zenn Prida; brothers, Anthony Prida and Timothy Prida; and many loving nieces and nephews.
