Marvin Paul Asbury was born to Paul Way Asbury and Vivian Elvera Lund Asbury October 2, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois. He was their only child. He died on August 24, 2018. He moved with his family to Portland when he was 4 years old in 1941 and he lived in the Portland, Medford and Woodburn areas until his death. Marvin was an inside and outside salesman for General Electric for a short time then he… Read More » moved to Medford where he worked for the airlines for 2 years and relocated to the Portland, Woodburn areas and he worked for Taylor Electric until he retired in 1995. He enjoyed golfing and going down south for the winters. He married Sandy in 1958 and they had three children. Marvin married Beverley Miller December 2006. He is survived by his wife, sons Marc of Arizona, Kelly of Arizona, and daughter Traci of Arizona. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and step-daughter Sherri Pearson. Burial will be in McMinnville, Oregon, services by Macy & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Marvin wished for his friends to donate to the McMinnville Animal Shelter or to one of your favorite charities in his memory.
