Funeral Service for Malcolm Brasher, Sr., age 79 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, September 27 , 2018 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Malcolm passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at TN State Veteran’s Home. He was born on May 16, 1939 in Lexington, TN to Cuelyus Brasher and Bessie Priddy. He was an active member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Clarksville, Tn, where he was proud to minister to others. He served 23 years in the United States Army, 10 years with Western Union, and 10 years with Boeing. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Johnnie Brasher, sons; Malcolm (Barbara) Brasher Jr., Brian S. Brasher, and Christopher V. Brasher, daughter, Sabrina Brasher-Norris, brother, Brian Keith Brasher, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his niece Jill, nephews Joey and Eric, special friend Eloise James and all of his Lexington family.
