OBITUARY Lillian D. Moreno March 15, 1931 – September 28, 2018 Lillian D. (DiLorenzo) Moreno, 87, of Johnston passed away September 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Michael Moreno. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Providenza (DiBona) DiLorenzo. Lillian worked at her brother’s restaurant, The DiLorenzo 1025 Club, and for Sonny Russo’s as well as The Classic Restaurant. She also worked for A.T. Cross before retiring. She was the mother of Sharon M. Moreno and her husband Larry Moone and the late Phyllis A. Moreno; grandmother of Walter Lane and his wife Tracy and Michael Lane and his wife Candace; great grandmother of Julia, Walter IV, Michael, Jr. and Violet and sister of the late Joseph, Anthony, Matty, Salvatore and Mary DiLorenzo, Angela DeMarco and Frances Marzilli and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Graveside burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION MONDAY 4-7 PM.
