OBITUARY L.C. Gunn May 9, 1946 – September 22, 2018 L.C. Gunn, 72, of Van Buren, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Van Buren, AR. He was born May 9, 1946 in Kibler, AR to the late Oscar and Mae Gunn. He was a Vice President of Citizens Bank in Van Buren for 25 years, managed the Fifth Season Inn in Fort Smith for several years, was a commercial greenhouse operator for over 25 years and had been President of the Gill Cemetery board. He is survived by his wife, Betty Gunn of the home; two daughters, Lisa Gunn-Beshears of Fort Knox, KY, Dana Gregory of Alma; two sisters, Patricia Ellis of Alma, Carolyn Harvell of Alma, and three grandchildren, Madeline Gun-Beshears, Tyler and Shelby Gregory. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Doug Cannedy, Lonnie Myers, Troy Gregory, Ronnie Gregory, Larry Crawford, and David Crawford. Honorary pallbearers will be Delmar Lewis, A.Z. Hudson, Randy Coleman and Tyler Gregory. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Christian Home in Morrilton, AR through Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, 6020 Kibler Rd, Van Buren, AR 72956.
