OBITUARY Janice K. Brown June 18, 1948 – September 4, 2018 Janice Elaine Brown age 70 of Childersburg, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at McGuffy Health Center in Gadsden. Services will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with the Reverend Donald Grice officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Mike Brown of Sylacauga; Daughter, Brooke Winters of Childersburg; Grandchildren, Cameron Calhoun of Childersburg, Abigail Calhoun of Childersburg, and Natalie Calhoun of Childersburg; Sister, Shirley Grice (Donald) of Sylacauga; Son, Steve Kirkland (Jean) of Montevallo. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by parents Willie and Lillie Kirkland; sisters, Dianne Culver and Linda Duffee. Mrs. Brown was previously married to Terry Winter.
