Obituary for Gerald H. “Bucky” Poynor Gerald H. “Bucky” Poynor, 64, of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away at 5:23 AM at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. He was born on December 2, 1953 in Avon, Illinois the son of Gerald O. Poyner and Betty (Eatherton) Poynor. Gerald installed carpet in Galesburg and the surrounding areas for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his Rottweilers and Dobermans. He is survived by 2 nieces, Candace German of Moline, Illinois, Heidi German Pulliam of Galesburg, Illinois, 1 great-niece, 1 great-nephew, and 1 brother-in-law, David German of Galesburg, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Jodie German. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois.
