Doris B Ethridge 1935 2018

Obituary of Doris Ethridge Doris B. (Mobley) Ethridge, 82, widow of Raymond Ethridge, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her home. Born on September 25, 1935, in Andrews, she was a daughter of the late John B. Benton and the late Ida Casselman Benton. Mrs. Ethridge was a member of Holy Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved being outdoors where she enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. Mrs. Etheridge had great love for sewing, babysitting and cooking Sunday dinner to share with her family. Survivors include one son, Charlie Mobley (Maureen) of Andrews; two step children, Sondra Johnson of Andrews and Kathy Ethridge of Myrtle Beach; four grandchildren, Wendy Mobley of Nesmith, Tracy Mobley of Hemingway, Chuck Mobley (Raven) of Decatur, AL and Thomas Mobley of Andrews; four step grandchildren, Mike Ward of Andrews, Celeste Gatlin (Travis) of Andrews, Christopher Ward of Pleasant Hill and Travis Johnson (Christy) of Andrews; one sister, Tallulah Fulton of Andrews; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Mobley; a son, Johnny Mobley; two sisters; and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Holy Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Brett Gardner officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM in Nesmith Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
