Obituary for Diane M. Woge Diane Marie Merat Woge Age 56, of Hermitage, passed away at home on Friday, August 24, 2018 after a 25 year battle with COPD. Diane was born on December 7, 1961, in Sharon, to Robert H. and Mary Elizabeth Thompson Merat. She married Timothy C. Woge on May 8, 1981. A 1979 graduate of Sharon High School, Diane previously worked at Family Craft Center in New Castle and Sharon, and in the Hermitage Giant Eagle Floral Department. Diane was highly skilled at crafting. She was particularly well-known for her birthday piƱatas. Diane was also an avid gardener and enjoyed fun-filled camping trips, especially with her nieces and nephews. More recently, she loved trips to Pittsburgh to watch her grandson play sports and to craft and paint with her granddaughter. Diane is survived by her husband at home; daughter Kristi Monaco (Jon), Pittsburgh; son Jason Woge, Sharon; sister Brenda Danilovics (George), Ft. Myers, Florida; brother Robert Merat (Tim), Pittsburgh; step-mother Esther Merat; step-brothers Chuck, Brian, Brad, and Tony, and their families; and grandchildren Andrew and Ava Monaco.
