Debbie Magley 2018

MAGLEY, Debra Louise, 62, of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away September 27, 2018. She was born in Syracuse, New York and from there, moved to Wesley Chapel. Debbie’s spirit can be summed up with one word: fierce. She was a fierce daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She never backed down from a challenge and did everything with an energy that was hard to keep up with. During her lifetime, Debbie raised 4 strong-willed children, adored 12 rambunctious grandkids and spoiled… Read More » 4 special dogs. When her grandbabies were around, there was no stopping her. She created magic and memories at every turn. She did all this while still finding time to pursue her degree at St Leo University. She was also proud to be part of a team at Moffitt Cancer Center where she worked tirelessly trying to find a cure for cancer. She loved to instigate sarcastic banter with her 3 brothers and cherished spending time in upstate New York during the fall. Debbie loved musicals and would belt out her favorite tunes like nobody else was in the room (if she wasn’t jamming out to Christmas music on Leon Day). Debbie worked hard every day of her life, but never harder than she did during her battle with cancer. She is now at peace and reunited with the love of her life, George. Rest assured, Debbie instilled her drive and determination in her children who will continue to try and live life as she would and will spend the rest of their lives preserving her legacy. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, George Magley. She is survived by her sons, Jason David Palladino of Hibridge, New Jersey and his wife, Tammy Palladino, Adam Joseph Palladino of Cape Coral, Florida and his wife, Michelle Palladino; daughters, Danielle Palladino Kline of Syracuse, New York and her husband, Greg Kline, Laurie Anne Schroeder of Wesley Chapel, Florida and her husband, Justin Schroeder; mother, Mary Killius Raven of Marcellus, New York; brothers, Steve Raven and his wife, Chere, Tim Raven and his wife, Joan, Chip Raven and his wife, Marcy; and 12 grandchildren who were all the loves of her life. A memorial service will take place at 7:00 pm on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service. While it will never be enough time, without the research efforts of Moffitt Cancer Center, Debbie’s family wouldn’t have been blessed with the time they were given. Debbie had plans to make a big impact with Moffitt’s annual cancer walk. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please consider donating to her team who will walk in Debbie’s honor on December 8, 2018 using the following link: http://support.moffitt.org/site/TR?fr_id=1070&pg=entry.
