Obituary of David Fuerst Mr. David James Fuerst of Walnut Mountain, Ellijay, Georgia, age 66, born June 22, 1952, passed on Sunday, September 2nd, 2018. He was born to his parents, Lillian Barton Fuerst and James Milton Fuerst. Mr. Fuerst served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He was a Plant Manager for over 40 years at SAMPO, INC, in Barneveld, NY, the only American manufacturer of Ball bearing fishing swivels. According to David’s wishes, his body was donated to science. Survivors include wife of 18 years, Cynthia Jean Pakenas Fuerst, Children and Step-children; Colby David Fuerst (Gayle), Morgana Fuerst Dundon (Jeremy), Christopher Lee Slocum (Jamie), Lynn Ellen Slocum Lowry (Colin); Grandchildren and Step Grandchildren; Elijah, Abram and Joshua Fuerst, Jack and Benjamin Kinser, Avery Christopher Slocum, Eliza Jae Slocum and Miles Lee Lowry.
