Obituary for Daniel A. Rosinski Farewell to our generous-hearted, loving and passionate leader, Daniel A. Rosinski, 58, of Williamsburg, VA, formerly of New England, passed away Tuesday, August 28 at his home. The legacy of Dan’s kind spirit, larger than life heart and his devotion to family and friends will carry on forever in his adored sons Casey and Marcelo. His dynamic and charming presence left an everlasting imprint on the lives of those who knew him. Dan’s determination brought him to Hampton Roads and shortly after his arrival he became an inspiration to so many. In addition to Owner/President of Bowditch Ford, Dan built and developed the Peninsula to its greatest potential. His fearless drive as a visionary brought immeasurable change and hope to our local community. Dan was a generous supporter and contributor to countless charities, including Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. As a philanthropist, he touched the lives of many people and was truly an inspiration to all who knew him. He was loyal, trustworthy and honest which perfectly complimented his extraordinary magnanimous spirit. Dan loved traveling, boating and collecting antiques. He had a great love for the arts, history and literature. His legacy will continue in his honor and he will forever be cherished by all those he touched. Preceded in death by his father, Richard Edward Rosinski and dear friend, Joseph Anthony Buffa. Survived by his beloved Chrissy Elizabeth Buffa of Williamsburg, VA; his cherished sons Casey Adams Rosinski and Companion; Elizabeth O’Neill Brown and Marcelo Gianni Rosinski; his mother Joyce D. Lambert; Family members Jessica, Angel, Lori, Dean, & Michelle; and several nieces and nephews; as well as the Buffa family. One of Dan’s favorite quotes is by President, George Washington, “Unutterable sensations must then be left to more expressive silence; while, from an aching heart, I bid you all, my affectionate friends, and kind neighbors, farewell!” Family and friends are cordially invited to call on Tuesday, September 4 from 4pm – 7:30pm at Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, Virginia. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 5 at 10am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 100 Harpersville Road, Newport News, VA. At the request of the family, all are requested to meet at the church. Burial will be private.
