Cody Manning Amick, age 24, 252 Millertown Road, Bloomsburg, died at his home on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018. Born at the Bloomsburg Hospital on March 11, 1994, he was the son of Robert M., Jr. and Mary Ann (Motto) Amick, with whom he resided. A lifelong resident of the Bloomsburg area, he was a 2012 graduate of Central Columbia High School. Cody was employed as a forklift operator at Dollar Trees Stores warehouse in Berwick. He was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg. Cody enjoyed working out with his friends at the gym and playing X Box with his good friend Tanner. He also participated in paint ball competition and played Yahtzee with his nana. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Michael A. Motto. In addition to his parents, Cody is survived by a sister, Katelyn E. Amick, who also lives with his parents; his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Motto, Catawissa; his paternal grandparents, Robert M. Sr. and Sara Amick, Bloomsburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
