Obituary for Clarence J. Chamberlain Sr. Clarence J. Chamberlain Sr., 75, of Clinton, WI, died Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Alden Meadow Park, Clinton, WI. He was born on July 21, 1943 in Norway, MI, the son of Henry and Cecelia (Alsteen) Chamberlain. Clarence was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army. He married Janet (Johnson) Messerschmidt on October 23, 1993 in the Church by the Side of the Road, Rockton, IL. She predeceased him on September 16, 2010. Clarence was employed by Flexcore, Beloit Corporation, and Stoughton Trailer, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #191, Beloit. Clarence enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, and horseshoes. Survivors include his children, Clarence Chamberlain, Jr. of Verona, WI, Terresa (Paul) Reints of Janesville, WI, and James Chamberlain of Pasadena, CA; grandchildren, Isabelle, Allison, and Kian; siblings, Patricia Struebing of Iron Mountain, MI, Joe (Shirley) Chamberlain of Beloit, WI, and Lucille Cuff of Roscoe, IL; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; one brother and five sisters. Private graveside services will be held in Shopiere Cemetery. Daley Murphy Wisch and Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
