Bette Jean N. Hoffmann, nee Fauss, 80, of Waterloo, IL, died September 16, 2018, in Belleville, IL. She was born July 8, 1938, in St. Louis, MO. She is survived by her daughter Vicki (Roger) Taake; daughter-in-law Amy (Gene) Rohlfing; grandchildren Derek and Claire Hoffmann; step-granddaughter Cari (Dan) Chaudet; step great grandchild Addison Chaudet; brother-in-law & sister-in law Calvin “Butch” & Joanne Hoffmann; nephew Scott (Marsha) Hoffmann; niece Donna (David) Nicholson; aunts, cousins, and friends. Bette is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd A. Hoffmann; son Keith A. Hoffmann; parents Harold P. and Lorene C. (nee Rippelmeyer) Fauss. She was retired Monroe County Deputy Circuit Clerk, member of Monroe County Democratic Club, Monroe County Farm Bureau, and former member of Maeystown Kloepper Club. As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: St. John Cemetery Asphalt Fund – Maeystown Visitation: 4 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Quernheim Funeral Home 9 AM until time of service Wednesday at Quernheim Funeral Home Funeral: 10 AM Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, IL Pastor Patrick Poole officiating Interment at St. John Cemetery in Maeystown, IL
