William Charles Yeager 2018

Bill C. Yeager William Charles “Bill” Yeager ,73, of Parkersburg passed away unexpectedly August 26, 2018 at his residence. He was born on February 9, 1945 in Parkersburg, WV and was the son of the late William Correll and Joan Patton “Pat” Starr Yeager. Bill graduated from Parkersburg High School. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force with the weather division. Bill was a member of American Legion Post #15 where he had served as Post Commander for two terms and as Treasurer. He served as President of Parkersburg Tile company, a business which his father started, serving the general public for many years and then specializing in serving local contractors. He enjoyed being outdoors, weather that was boating on the river, hunting and camping or just enjoying nature. Bill favorite car was the Corvette and he always appreciated driving or seeing a nice Vet. Bill is survived by his wife of thirty-three years Karen C. Terrell Yeager, daughters Kelly and Kimberly, grandchildren Jamey, Brayden, Lydia, great granddaughter Sophie, several cousins and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Andrew Yeager. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Thursday at the American Legion Post #15 on Ohio Ave. Parkersburg..
